Unitarian Congregation in Stratford

WE WELCOME YOU IN YOUR QUEST FOR TRUTH, MEANING, and CONNECTION

(Stratford Unitarians usually meet monthly on the fourth Sunday of the month at 10:30 am.
We enjoy refreshments together after most services.)

Next service SUNDAY, April 28, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. – topic TBA

At our March 24 service we tackled an important but uncomfortable topic – death.   There are certain things that can be put into place to help ease the physical and emotional pain and suffering for dying people and their loved ones.  Jaclyn Turpin, a social worker with a specialty in bereavement  and Lisa Henry, a nurse and director of resident care at the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth, spoke to us about how to prepare for a good death.
During the presentation the speakers invited us to share what our visions of a good death are.
This was very special and often moving.

Out meetings are usually held at the
Falstaff Family Centre
Community Room
35 Waterloo St. N,
Stratford, Ontario, Canada

(Parking and entrance on the north side of building, off Elizabeth St.)

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Whether you are new to the Stratford area or have lived here all your life, no matter your beliefs, cultural background, gender, or sexual orientation, you are welcome to join our vibrant congregation.
